Update 2.9.0: Smarter Inventory and Champion Comebacks

Hey Adventurers!

We’ve just rolled out another quality-of-life update - and this one clears up some long-standing pain points you’ve been flagging.

A while back we made inventory a bit easier to handle. But we knew there was more to do - and you made sure we didn’t forget it 😉

🛠️ What’s New in 2.9.0:
1.Trade Gear with a Sentence
The AI now understands inventory actions right in your story!
No menus needed - just type something like:
“Elara places her enchanted blade into Robin’s hands.”
The item will move instantly.
Worried about losing rare loot? Don’t be - discarding isn’t supported through chat, so nothing crucial will disappear.
And of course, if you’d rather save tokens, the inventory screen is always there.

2. See Exactly Who Picked Up What
Did your rogue grab that spell scroll again? Now it’s easy to track. You’ll know who picked up what the moment it happens — no detective work needed.

3. Wrong Character? The AI Will Let You Know
Trying to use the wizard’s staff with your warrior? The AI gently (or not so gently) lets you know you might be making a mistake. This one’s saved us more than a few headaches already.

🏅 Champion Comebacks (Finally!)
You’ve been asking for this one — and honestly, you were right.
You can now re-add a champion you previously removed.

We know the old limit was a bit too harsh, and we’re sorry if it got in the way of your plans. Your champions are a big part of your journey, and from now on, you’ll have the freedom to bring them back whenever inspiration (or regret) strikes. Thanks again for all your feedback — it helps us tune the experience in the right direction every time. Let us know how this one feels and what you’d like to see next.

Happy questing!
